Norwegian Arctic Char
The Norwegian Arctic Char is an eco-friendly and sustainable fish farmed in a small mountain village in Norway, called Tydal. The fish originates from a lake where it was extracted back in 1998. Before this time, the fish has found its way from Arctic regions by moving from glaciers in rivers and streams. This high-quality fish is farmed in an eco-friendly way by using RAS technology. The Arctic Char is milder in taste and has a finer meat structure than salmon and trout, which gives a distinct and unique taste experience. The fish is ideal for further processing such as smoking or marinating and is also perfect as sashimi or for sushi. With its excellent culinary qualities it can also be enjoyed in numerous cooked dishes.
