Do you like working with tools, machines, and fixing things?

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated person to join our team as a maintenance technician!

No certificate required.

About the job

We need someone who enjoys practical work and understands how machines work. You will help keep our factory running by doing maintenance, fixing small problems, and supporting production.

You don’t need a certificate or special education – we care more about your attitude, that you like to learn, and that you can work independently.

The job is at our seafood factory in Raudeberg. Most of your work will be inside the production hall. Working hours follow the production shift, so the times you work will change depending on production – sometimes there can be some extra hours.

About Babord Pure

Babord Pure is part of a modern and growing seafood industry. Our factory opened in 2023 and is an important part of our production. You will be part of a fast-moving, international team with friendly coworkers and chances to grow and learn new things.

Responsibilities and work tasks:

  • Check and maintain machines and equipment
  • Find and fix simple problems
  • Help set up and change production lines
  • Do small technical tasks (not electrical installation)
  • Work together with production leaders and the quality team
  • Contact external technicians when needed

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with practical work, like mechanics, maintenance, or production
  • Certificate is a plus, but not required
  • Interest in tools, machines, and fixing things
  • You are hands-on, organized, and good at solving problems
  • You can work both alone and in a team
  • You speak Norwegian or English

We offer a permanent job in a future-focused industry. You will get training, good support, and be part of an inclusive workplace. The days are varied, and you get a lot of responsibility. The job follows the production shifts and sometimes includes extra hours.

It’s a good job if you have worked with technical tasks before – for example in farming, fishing, building, repair or similar. But you can also be new to this, as long as you are motivated to learn.

Sound like something for you?
